Occupying a 2000sqm facility in the Foxhills Industrial Estate in North Lincolnshire, Stylex was acquired by Rubicon Partners Industries LLP in 2004. As an established supplier of automotive trim accessories and trim fixations, Stylex is intent on positioning itself as the leading innovator in this sector. With strategic associations in the product development and manufacturing fields (including production capabilities in China), Stylex delivers flexibility and cost effectiveness in a broad range of trim solutions.

 
Alan Ross Alan Ross joined Stylex in August 2007, bringing over twenty years of commercial experience in automotive interior trim. Having worked for tier two companies in South Africa, Germany & the UK, and covering cutting, sewing & trimming of textiles, coated fabrics and leather, Alan offers a sound appreciation of the demands of global automotive supply and the disciplines necessary to establish Stylex as a leading supplier in its field of expertise. “Stylex has a wealth of opportunity for growth and we are investing in establishing ourselves as the leading innovator of trim solutions and accessories”.
 
  Steve Jackson joined Stylex as Financial Controller and Company Secretary in March 2010. A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in both public practice and industry, Steve joined the business to strengthen the Finance and Admin functions. Heading a small team Steve oversees the financial accounting within the company with responsibility for monthly account preparation, cash flow management and payroll management within the Rubicon financial reporting structure.
 
  Sean Harper joined Stylex in February 2009 as Production Manager from a global tier 2 manufacturing environment. Having held management positions in Lean Manufacturing, Quality, Prodution & Technical Support, Sean is a qualified exponent of Lean and Six Sigma and is tasked with ensuring Stylex reflects industry best practice in the manufacturing environment.
 
Jonathan Hogg joined the company in 1997 and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. As part of the management team, Jonathan has managed the launch of product into over 35 vehicle programmes worldwide resulting in a comprehensive understanding of the launch process and associated activities. Experience gained while working in both Product Development and Production Departments proves very helpful when liaising with clients, particularly design engineering and purchasing personnel. Current responsibilities include account management and sales development throughout Europe.
 
Marc Robertson

During the period of his Masters (MSc Eng. Quality Improvement - Bradford University), Marc Robertson worked for Stylex as part of a Knowledge Transfer placement. Marc was subsequently appointed Quality Manager in 2007 after successfully guiding the company to TS 16949 certification. In 2008, he successfully led the company through to accreditation to the environmental quality standard ISO: 14001. Marc is engaged with the production team in introducing the principles of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, as well as delivering transparency in performance data so that supplier performance (and consistency) can also be tracked and developed.

 
Mark Drane Mark Drane joined Stylex (with a degree in finance), over 5 years ago from the venture capital and high risk investments industry. Since joining Stylex in the role of Materials Controller, Mark has delivered significant improvements in purchasing practices and has achieved enviable cost down gains over the time he has been with the company. Having developed a sound understanding of the product range, manufacturing processes and customer applications, Mark has become an important reference point in the Stylex Management Team.
